About Our Energy Transition Work

Central to tackling our environmental challenges is the effort to transition the energy sources that power our lives and livelihoods—from traditional technologies and fossil fuels to advanced technologies and clean power sources. This transition will have wide-ranging impacts across communities, workforces, infrastructure, ecosystems, and local and state economies.

CLEE explores energy transition implications from long-term economic transitions to pathways for emerging technologies. We convene industry, government, and advocacy leaders to identify business solutions to climate challenges; and we work with stakeholders to identify least-conflict areas for energy infrastructure. Our work is committed to ensuring that the transition proceeds efficiently, effectively, and equitably.
