About Our Clean Transportation Work
CLEE has led innovative work at the intersection of clean transportation and climate policy for over two decades. Our projects span from automobiles to aviation to freight and from California policy approaches to international coalition-building. Our focus is on developing ideas and solutions that address the harmful climate and environmental impacts of traditional transportation technologies while continuing to ensure mobility for people and the economy.
CLEE’s clean transportation work is constantly evolving to meet the needs of policymakers, industry, and communities. With transportation responsible for half of all climate-warming emissions in California and nearly as much nationwide, the sector is a core focus area across many of CLEE’s initiatives.
