About Dan
Dan Adler is Executive Director, U.S. Green Bank 50, the member association of green finance organizations serving all U.S. markets, and Senior Advisor at Net-Zero California, supporting analysis and advocacy to deliver on California’s world-leading climate ambitions. Previously he was Deputy Director for Climate Finance at the California Infrastructure and Economic Development Bank (IBank), where he lead the state’s Green Bank activities, and Senior Advisor at the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development. Prior to these roles, he was Vice President for Policy at the Energy Foundation, a partnership of philanthropies advancing clean energy markets across the U.S., and Executive Director of the California Clean Energy Fund (CalCEF- now New Energy Nexus), leading the firm’s efforts to catalyze transformational investment theses across venture capital and project finance. He also served as senior analyst in the Division of Strategic Planning at the California Public Utilities Commission, where he was responsible for the design and implementation of California’s Renewables Portfolio Standard and was senior staff for climate policy.
