About Cindy
Cindy is the Program Coordinator for GrizzlyCorps, an AmeriCorps fellowship housed at CLEE. GrizzlyCorps sends recent college graduates out to forest and farm communities in California to help build community resilience and respond to climate change. Cindy manages and develops GrizzlyCorps’ internal curriculum, provides mentorship to GrizzlyCorps fellows, and supports other day-to-day functions.
Prior to CLEE, Cindy served as a wildfire resiliency fellow in Los Angeles at the Resource Conservation District of the Santa Monica Mountains. Cindy is also a former Gen Z Advisor for the Climate Mental Health Network, where she facilitated in-person events around the intersections of mental health and climate change. Her facilitation centers around helping people make meaning, find steadiness, and build collective resilience in the face of climate disruption.
Cindy holds a BS in Environmental Science and a BA in Political Science & International Affairs from UC Riverside.
