Position: Senior Advisor

Alexis M. Pelosi is a Senior Advisor at CLEE, where she advances work at the intersection of resiliency and the built environment. She focuses on aligning energy efficiency, clean energy, and long-term durability within the real estate ecosystem, demonstrating how the what, how, and where we build can simultaneously address the climate and housing crises through smart, resilient development.

As Principal of AP Strategies, Alexis leads initiatives to scale decarbonized, grid-interactive buildings through market-based solutions, modular construction, and streamlined public land use. She also serves as Strategic Advisor for the Built Environment at The Resiliency Company, advising on the LA Delta Fund and advancing national efforts to align finance and insurance with climate-resilient development.

Alexis previously served as the Senior Advisor for Climate at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). There, she oversaw the agency’s Climate Action Plan, led the “Build for the Future” initiative, and strengthened interagency and international partnerships focused on building sector transitions. She entered federal service after almost two decades of practicing land use and environmental law in the San Francisco Bay Area.
