Making Old Systems Work in New Ways
Our water management systems need to adapt to a range of challenges, including a shifting climate, population change, and aging infrastructure. We often manage water supply, flood control, stormwater, and wastewater as distinct problems. However, to effectively adapt to a shifting climate, we need to recognize their interconnectedness.
CLEE’s Environmental Innovation work examines barriers to creative water management solutions that help communities meet multiple needs—and explores ways to constructively address those barriers.
