About the Initiative
Leadership changes from Sacramento to Washington have tremendous implications for the direction of climate and environmental policy. CLEE’s work on electoral transitions is focused on tracking impacts and informing decision-making, including development of federal deregulatory trackers and expert, nonpartisan recommendations for new gubernatorial administrations. Our goal is to center the environmental stakes of elections and highlight emerging priorities for new leadership.
